Complete website design including automation features, custom made graphical elements, development of site identity and color schematics, custom plugin and CSS implementation, partnership/collaborative accommodations, and more.
The Global Exposome Forum is a CAAT funded project designed to facilitate international collaboration and scientific exchange in the burgeoning field of “exposomics.”
Development of the website required a synthesis of graphical know-how, coding, and website design psychology. Custom design elements were created using Adobe suite software: logos and branding for GEF using Illustrator; other logos and images were edited using Photoshop for sitewide consistency.
All functionality features including automation sequences, animations, menus, buttons, and overall formatting were implemented using WordPress. The website utilizes several automation sequences to streamline the use of the CAAT newsletter as a source for event postings, information, and calendar displays.
Plugins such as post carousels, popup displays, and calendars were developed from scrap or modified to accommodate simpler navigation and clarity.
The site is presently a WIP.
Video Editing Services for The Center to Alternatives to Animal Testing:
Video production for the JHU CAAT YouTube channel, edited with Adobe Premiere. Breadth of work includes: design of visual elements, thumbnails, and opening slides; meticulous sound and timeline editing; and the composition of opening jingles.
Graphical Elements for the 2024 MPS World Summit:
These projects marked the launch of my professional graphic work, applying university-taught fundamentals in practice for events during the 2023 and 2024 MPS World Summits.
Two different visual styles were used to represent showtimes and events: the 2023 Macroparty flyer was designed to present individual DJs and the ambiance of their locations in a larger complex; the 2024 Macroparty flyer utilized an unconventional timeline to convey showtimes while maintaining classic 70s-80s flyer motifs popular along the West coast of the United States.
